Memphis and Sakara:
Memphis was the first capital uniting upper and lower Egypt and was built at about 3100 b.c by the legendary king Menes.
The visit to the ruins of the ancient city will include the colossal statue of Ramses II, the Alabaster sphinx of king Amenophis II and the ruins of the temple of Ptah.
Then continue to the Necropolis of Memphis and the oldest ancient Egyptian cemetery, Sakkara. Fifteen royal pyramids has been discovered here thus far. The site is dominated by the famous step pyramids of king Zoser, the first Pyramid ever built, founded by the engineer Imphoteb.
